I had registered myself to join the Synchronised Breastfeeding session at Suntec on 23rd Aug 08. It so happened that my ex colleague invited me to her house for a house warming gathering on the same day too. My husband was busy at work, as a result of which, I had to take a taxi out with my baby and my maid. It was raining heavily and I had to call for a cab and when the Citycab driver arrived at my block, he noted that I was carrying a baby, so he immediately came down to help us to place the baby pram in the car booth. When we reached my ex colleague’s place (Simei), the rain was still very heavy and we did not have an umbrella with us. To make things worse, there was no shelter for the driver to drop us. So the driver got down from the taxi and he went to his car booth to get the umbrella to shelter us. Since I was carrying my baby, I asked my maid to pay the driver. My maid only looked at the big meter, without reading the small meter, which recorded the call charge, ERP &

Besides, having the the piñata game, we also have a guessing game where the winner gets what he or she counts! The preparation is simple, just fill jar with candy, nuts, raisins - anything edible counting the pieces as you put them in. Then let the children guess how many are in each jar. Whoever guesses closest wins the jar.

Tax incentive for parents ( PTR ) Parenthood tax rebate ( PTR ) is a lump sum rebate given to married Singapore Tax Residents to encourage them to have more Singaporean BB. Think the government should give tax incentive such as “further deduction for expenditure on building modifications for benefit of breastfeeding mother”. i.e. to have breastfeeding room in all shopping centre. Petai is one of my favorite foods! Not everyone will appreciate it anyway. It has earned its nickname 'stink bean' because its strong smell is very pervasive. It is hard to find in Singapore. I happened to find it in Cold storage - Compass Point Shopping Centre on last Saturday. I had more then half of it~~~

Our company is giving us a free Korean language by getting a Korean teacher to teach us on every Thursday. I am now learning to sing the 3 bears song. I am so use to see the way my baby moving around by creeping instead of crawling. He begins to drag himself across the floor with his arms when he was around 6 months old. To date, he is 11 months old, I found out that he start to crawling, where he gets up on his hands and knees and moves around. Most of the baby already doing the crawling way one or two month after they start to creeping, Dong Dong is now learning to walk without support, I just not sure why he change his combat crawling method to crawling @.@

Original I was planned to get a piñata and blindfolding the children and letting them hit the piñata with a stick. However, due to the age gap between the children (some I think only one year old and some of them already eleven), I decided to get this pulling string piñata instead. Children have to line up, each one take turn to pull one string, only one of the strings will open out and all the candies, stationery and small toys. Hopefully the first few children got the wrong one :P or else the game will over! Hahahaha … evil me :P I got this piñata from Party City @ Raffles City Candies, stationery & small toys for falling

^_^ Ready to serve ~~ Ingredients: 3 tablespoons of chili paste or to taste 6 cloves garlic (chopped) 1 potato (cubed & steam boiled) 10 fresh prawns (peeled & deveined) 2 big squids (cleaned and cut into rings) 1 packet Yellow Noodles Sauces ** 2 tablespoon of soy sauce 3 tablespoon of tomato ketchup Sugar and salt to taste 2 eggs 2 tomatoes (cubed) 1 onion (cubed) A handful of Bean sprouts (optional) 1 red chili (optional - for garnishing) 1 green chili (optional - for garnishing) 1 piece of dried bean curds (cubed & slightly stir fry till golden brown) 2 lime (cut into wedges) Directions: 1. Blend 15 dried red chilies in a food processor. Add some water and some oil to blend well. Heat the wok and stir fry the paste until fragant. 2.
