I am making this pull string piñata for my daughter 1st birthday. I did it just because the cost of buying one is too expensive. I bought the Pooh Bear piñata for my boy during his first birthday, its cost me about S$65/- and the fourth kids just got the correct string and game over! Phewwww~~~~~~~ too fast my S$65/- gone, just like throwing money down the drain. So I decided to DIY a piñata this time round. Well, what do you need to DIY your piñata? 50/ 50 flour + water (Mix the flour and water together until it makes a smooth paste.) Newspaper (Cut into about 1" strips) Colored crepe paper String (For Decoration & Pull strings) Round Vegetable Drainer (some use balloon) Water pail (Small rubbish bin) Time : 1 week I use a small water pail as the base of my cupcake (some use rubbish bin) and a round vegetable drainer as the top of my cupcake. After suffered through an afternoon crammed in a windowless conference room and finally the workshop came to the end and it is time for food! We all gathered at Jang Shou Korean BBQ in Katong for food & drinks! With this hite beer the korean is going to make 'bomb' (Sake bomb) . What is Sake bomb? and how to make it? Simple ~ Just pour the sake into the shot glass and then dropping it into a glass of beer. After our food & drinks, we all headed down to Tanjong Pagar for Karaoke!

23rd Jul 2010, it is my DH’s birthday, we both went on leave and get a room at M hotel. The hotel manager un-graded our room from Deluxe Room to M Club room, my girl was so happy to check on the bed~ Due to high occupancy rate, the hotel requested us to check in at only 2pm After we settled down, my son refused to take his afternoon nap, so DH brought him down for a shop at International Plaza. Once my daughter woke up, we headed up to Suntec for our ‘Singapore DuckTour”. We paid total S$66/- for the tickets for four of us! I was trying to get the personalized Hello Kitty banner online for my daughter 1st birthday, however, I am not able to get one, so I decided to DIY one for her. How to do it? Google and look for nice Hello Kitty 2-D picture, print at least two copies out. The first copy cut according to the outer line (Refer to Picture A), and the second copy cut according to the inner line (Refer to picture B). The first copy cut according to the outer line (Refer to Picture A) the second copy cut according to the inner line (Refer to picture B). Put (A) on a piece of black felt sheet, cut out the shape accordingly. For me, I sew (A) on the black felt sheet first, then I do the cutting. For the (B) you can put on difference colour of felt sheet to cut it out. Of course, planned before you do it! Remove the paper from the felt sheet after cutting out, then assembly back, station them with pin. Then apply glue on the wrong side of (B), and tadaa!!! Do the same of the alphabet
