06.00 – wake up
06.45 – reach Bishan MRT station waiting for the coach
12.00 – lunch at Seremban
14.00 - Shopping at Mid Valley
1730 - Check into Putrajaya Marriott Hotel
1930 - Dinner at local chinese restaurant
2100 - night tour around Putrajaya

Upon completion of Mandatory Singapore Citizenship Journey, you are a step nearer to get your Singapore Pink IC. The Mandatory Singapore Citizenship Journey implemented in earlier 2011 to all new citizens. The programme must be completed in two months from the date of receiving their in-principal approval letter. Once the said programme has been completed, you will be issued another letter from ICA requesting you to formally renounce your Malaysian Citizenship at Malaysian High Commission. A deadline will be stated in the letter. For my case, it is about 1.5 month from the date of the letter. Therefore, it is advisable for you to finish your unfinished business before you surrender all citizenship. Collection of Renunciation Certificate at Malaysia High Comm

Once renunciation of your Malaysian citizenship has been approved, you will receive a letter (email) from Malaysia High Commission asking you to go down to collect your Form K and birth certificate within one month from the date of the e-mail. You have to bring down the following documentation: i)        Singapore Identity Card (photocopy front and back of identity card); ii)      Singapore Citizenship Certificate (photocopy front and back of certificate);  iii)     Singapore Passport (photocopy of page with photograph of passport holder); and iv)       Deed Poll / Baptism (if name has been changed), if applicable. Renewal of Malaysia international passport in the Malaysian High Commission, Singapore

Documents required (Application for adult) 1. Form IM.42 to be duly completed. Obtainable at Forms Counter or Immigration Department website: http://www.imi.gov.my/ a. *Please print on both side of an A4 paper b. *Printing on two pieces of paper will not be accepted 2. 2 recent coloured passport-sized photograph - 3.5cm. x 5cm. with Blue background. Polaroid photo not acceptable. Proper attire is advisable (No sleeveless). Self-service photo taking machine is available at the High Commission.
