La Petit Cuisine & island creamery ice cream

It was my sister in law’s birthday, she suggested going to La Petit Cuisine for dinner on yesterday. It is a humble and simple place, indoor and outdoor seats are available, because we have two kids with us, and we chose to get the indoor seats, although the outdoor seat gave off a more romantic feeling, but I am just worried of the mosquitoes.

Their tables just covered with plastic (disposable) tablecloth, simple laminated menu, I felt that we are having dinner in a ‘high class’ coffee shop ….. Need to proceed to counter to order your food, and no GST.

We ordered onion soup, mushroom soup

Lamb chop, The Ravioli of Prawns Foie Gras in Light Lemon Crème, Confit de Canard with Gratin, Filet of Salmon.

Just immediately our order placement, we was served with warm crusty bread roll with butter.
My order, Filet of Salmon with rice, the fish was fresh and cooked just nice, not too dry, yammy ~~

Their Confit de Canard with Gratin (crispy duck leg confit with potatoes) is definitely must try item; it was crispy on the outside while the meat just melted off the bone inside.

Overall, the meal was excellent.
